Kale Chips

Dark green veggies are vital for a healthy pregnancy. They are rich in vitamins and minerals including A and B complex, as well as folic acid. They also help play in role in the formation of red blood cells.

Here is a simple and delicious way to add more greens to your diet.

  • 1 Bunch Kale
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Garlic Powder (optional)
  • Cooking Spray

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray. With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Put kale in bowl or ziplock bag, and drizzle with olive oil, then shake.  Spread kale on baking sheet, then sprinkle with salt and seasoning. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
